‘Into the Spotlight’ was Stardust Youth Theatre’s debut show! A revue show featuring scenes, songs and dances from five of our cast’s favourite musicals.
Into the Spotlight told the real-life story of young people who power through various struggles to put on ‘The Greatest Show’. This musical adventure included songs from Mamma Mia, Legally Blonde, We Will Rock You, Fame and The Greatest Showman!

The Addams Family featured an original story, and it’s every father’s nightmare. Wednesday Addams has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart man from a respectable family. If that weren’t upsetting enough, Wednesday confides in her father – under the condition that he keeps the information secret from her mother, which Gomez Addams has never done before!
The whole family faces changes on the night that the Addams Family host a dinner for Wednesday’s “normal” boyfriend and his family.
A Christmas Carol – December 2022
In this musical version of A Christmas Carol, you’ll still meet all your old favourite characters like Tiny Tim, the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future and of course the ever-grumpy Ebenezer Scrooge. However, you’ll also learn about the letters that Scrooge wrote to his sister, and meet the love of his life…it’s a fresh take on an old tale sure to get the whole family feeling the Christmas spirit!
Into the Woods – April 2023
The Brothers Grimm hit the stage with this epic fairytale about wishes, family and the choices we make. The story follows a Baker and his wife, who wish to have a child; Cinderella, who wishes to attend the King’s festival; and Jack, who wishes his cow would give milk. When the Baker and his wife learn of the Witch’s curse preventing them from having a child, the two set off on a journey to break the curse. Everyone’s wish is granted, but the consequences of their actions return to haunt them later..
Seussical Junior and Footloose Youth - July 2023
Two shows in one!
First, travel through the imaginative world of colour, where Dr Seuss’ best-loved characters collide! Featuring Horton the elephant, the Cat in the Hat and a whole planet of Whos, this family adventure is filled with fun and friendship.
Then, over to Bomont, where the teenagers of this conservative town work together to show Reverend Moore and his supporters that dancing is more fun than dangerous. Emotional, evocative yet toe-tapping, Footloose is a classic favourite for all ages.
We Will Rock You - November 2023
We Will Rock You tells the story of a globalized future without musical instruments. A handful of rock rebels, the Bohemians, fight against the all-powerful Globalsoft company and its boss, the Killer Queen; they fight for freedom, individuality and the rebirth of the age of rock.
Beauty and the Beast - May 2024
The classic story tells of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed into his former self. But time is running out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity.
Showcase - July 2024
A blended show of songs and dance numbers chosen by our cast members to highlight their talents! The showcase was filled with favourite songs from musicals, films and pop artists.
Popstars - November 2024
Packed with pop smash hits from the hyper-coloured 1990’s, Popstars tells the tale of boyband versus girlband as garage band buddies enlist the help of the ultra talented new girl to win the talent show and a possible record deal – the fact it comes with built-in revenge on a mean ex-girlfriend is just a bonus!

Newsies - May 2025
When powerful newspaper publishers raise prices at the newsboys’ expense, the charismatic Jack Kelly rallies newsies from across the city to strike against the unfair conditions. Together, the newsies learn that they are stronger united and create a movement to fight for what’s right.
