Lorien Redwood-Knight
Lorien is the producer and co-founder of Stardust, and is really passionate about ensuring the benefits of performing arts are accessible to all young people! Lorien has loved theatre since a young age, and has been involved in many productions across different theatre companies over the years as a performer, lighting technician, stage manager and producer. The confidence, creativity, skills and experiences that young people develop while taking part in theatre really do stay with them for life, and working with such talented young people as the Stardust cast members is an absolute joy. Lorien is super proud of every cast member and can’t wait to see how the cast and the group as a whole continue to grow!
Rich is the choreographer and co-founder of Stardust. His life is musical theatre, it always has been – he loves performing and sharing the stage with others. He has a few hugely popular musicals under his belt that include Shrek the musical, Beauty and the Beast and The Addams Family! Stardust provides a place where young people can be free to be themselves and learn how theatre can improve their lives. As choreographer, Rich believes that dance is a great way for anyone to have fun and keep fit.

Jack Permintella
Jack is the musical director and co-founder of Stardust, and has worked in youth theatre for nearly 15 years now and has worked on some incredible shows with some incredibly talented young people. It’s been a fun and interesting experience in learning so many different styles of music for different shows over the years. It’s really pushed Jack to become a better musician and he truly believes only musical theatre would have delivered this opportunity. In starting Stardust one of Jack’s main aims was to provide accessible creative experiences for young people, particularly accessible in the sense of there being no pay wall to have the opportunity to be creative. One of his other main aims was to be able to provide unique creative experiences for young people.
The founders of Stardust Youth Theatre would like to thank everyone else who has been and continues to be a massive help to the group. It takes many people to pull off the quality of productions that we aim for, and we are very grateful to all of the technicians, musicians, props makers, costume alterers and parents of cast members whose time and expertise really is invaluable!
